Plywood for THE SHELTER and 200 kg of best SAUNA rocks from Estonia have arrived to Papay!! /thank you Bobby for taking it from the Pier– you’re mega-star!!!!
Architect Simon Hjermind Jensen is travelling from Denmark to build the unique plywood structure which we hope will stay for some time giving a wind and rain shelter to walkers in Papay.
Artist Seppo Renvall is travelling from Finland to build a real sauna in Papay /perhaps the first one in 600 years/. After such heat it’ll be much easier to enjoy a good sea swim. Welcome
Also everybody’s welcome to share and to learn some carpentry skills and to give a hand in construction and to take part in the grant launch of the Shelter and Sauna
